Poet to inspire Ripon College

Wednesday March 21 at 7:30 p.m. published poet Roberta J. Hill will be doing a poetry reading in Caestecker Art Gallery in Rodman. Hill is professor of English and American Indian?Studies at UW-Madison. Hill is an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin. She has three collections of poetry called "Star Quilt," "Philadelphia Flowers" and "Cicada." Her poetry has been selected for many awards including Outstanding Achievement Recognition from the Wisconsin Library Association and has been published in numerous magazines and anthologies. She is currently at work on her first novel. Hill's visit is sponsored by the Ripon College Visiting Writer's Series and is open to the public.
